WATER ACT 1912 - SECT 26C
Construction of work by Crown for councils26C Construction of work by Crown for councils
No work to which this Part extends shall be constructed by the Crown for or on
behalf of any council or county council within the meaning of the
Local Government Act 1993 or any person unless such council or person shall
have first obtained a licence under this Part for the work.
This section shall not apply to any such work in course of construction by the
Crown at the commencement of the Irrigation and Water (Amendment) Act 1943 .
