Directions for compensation not appealable on certain grounds
77 Directions for compensation not appealable on certain grounds
An appeal does not lie against a direction for compensation merely because, in
civil proceedings arising from substantially the same facts as those on which
the offender was convicted, the aggrieved person is awarded a lesser amount in
damages than the amount of compensation required to be paid by the direction.
