VICTIMS SUPPORT AND REHABILITATION ACT 1996 - SECT 55

55 Appeals against orders for restitution

(1) An order for restitution that is confirmed after a hearing before the Tribunal may be appealed against in the same way as a judgment of the Local Court exercising civil jurisdiction may be appealed against.

(2) An appeal may not be lodged under this section if 1 month or more has elapsed since the date on which the order for restitution was made.
