Betting in New South Wales with bookmakers acting illegally
10 Betting in New South Wales with bookmakers acting illegally
A person must not make a bet with another person if the person knows, or would
reasonably be expected to know, that the other person is carrying on
bookmaking in contravention of this Act.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units or
imprisonment for 12 months (or both).
