Types of licences and authorisation conferred by licence
9 Types of licences and authorisation conferred by licence
(1) The following kinds of licence may be granted and held under this Act--
(a) an operator licence,
(b) a tattooist licence.
(2) An operator licence
authorises the licensee to carry on a body art tattooing business (whether on
his or her own behalf or on behalf of another person) at the premises
specified in the licence in accordance with this Act and the conditions of the
licence.
(3) A tattooist licence authorises the licensee to perform
body art tattooing procedures in accordance with this Act and the conditions
of the licence.
(4) The authorisation conferred by a licence is subject to
this Act and the regulations.
