TERRORISM (POLICE POWERS) ACT 2002 - SECT 19
Power to enter and search premises
19 Power to enter and search premises
(1) A police officer may, without a warrant, enter and search any premises,
if: (a) the officer suspects on reasonable grounds that a person who is the
target of an authorisation may be in the premises, or
(b) the officer
suspects on reasonable grounds that a vehicle that is the target of an
authorisation may be in the premises, or
(c) the premises are in an area that
is the target of an authorisation.
(2) The police officer must do as little
damage as possible.
