59 Extension of application of Act

(1) Any person may apply for the provisions of this Act to be extended to him.

(2) The Minister may lay the application before both Houses of Parliament and, if either House of Parliament does not, within twenty-one sitting days, disapprove of the application, the Governor may, by notification published on the NSW legislation website, notify that the name of the applicant is added to Schedule 1 as on and from a day to be specified in the notification, not being earlier than the date of the notification, and thereupon the name of that person shall be deemed to be added to that Schedule and that Schedule shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.
