TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT 1988 - SECT 49A

49A General functions of RMS

(1) RMS has the functions conferred or imposed on it by or under the transport legislation or any other Act.

(2) RMS cannot employ any staff.

Note: Staff may be employed under Chapter 1A of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 in the Government Service to enable RMS to exercise its functions.
