TRAVEL AGENTS ACT 1986 - SECT 24
Determination of review concerning compensation scheme
(1) After completing consideration of an application for review under section
22 (3) or (4), the Tribunal may: (a) if the application relates to a refusal
referred to in section 22 (3)-admit the applicant to participation in the
compensation scheme conditionally on the applicant being or becoming licensed,
or
(b) if the application related to a termination referred to in section 22
(4)-annul the termination, or
(c) in either case-dismiss the application.
(2) Nothing in subsection (1) limits any other powers that the Tribunal has
under Division 3 of Part 3 of Chapter 5 of the
Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997 .
(3) Subject to Chapter 7 of the
Administrative Decisions Tribunal Act 1997 , a decision by the Tribunal under
subsection (1) (a) or (b) is taken to be a decision made in accordance with
the law governing the compensation scheme and is to be given effect
accordingly.
