TRAVEL AGENTS ACT 1986 - SECT 12

12 Name under which licensee may operate

(1) Subject to the Business Names Act 2002 , a licence may authorise the licensee to carry on business as a travel agent under a name in addition to or in substitution for the name of the licensee.

(2) A person shall not carry on business as a travel agent under a name other than the name of the licensee or the name under which the licensee is authorised so to do in accordance with subsection (1).

Penalty-subsection (2): 50 penalty units.
