(1) The Minister may amend the
conditions of a licence in accordance with this section.
(2) The conditions
may be amended by being substituted, varied, revoked or added to.
(3) An
amendment may be proposed--
(a) by the licensee by requesting the Minister in
writing to make the amendment, or
(b) by the Minister by giving notice in
writing of the proposed amendment to the licensee and giving the licensee at
least 14 days to make submissions to the Minister concerning the proposed
amendment.
(4) The Minister is to consider any submissions made by the
licensee and is then to decide whether to make the proposed amendment, either
with or without changes from that originally proposed.
(5) The Minister is to
notify the licensee of the Minister's decision. Any amendment that the
Minister decides upon takes effect when notice of the decision is given to the
licensee or on such later date as may be specified in the notice.
