Note: Section 3 of the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 defines the foundation charter of a statutory State owned corporation ( "SOC") as the whole of any Act by which a SOC is established for the purposes of the State Owned Corporations Act 1989 and, in particular, for the purpose of the provisions relating to the legal capacity of statutory SOCs and assumptions that they have complied with that Act and their foundation charter.
