SYDNEY WATER ACT 1994 - SECT 17
Term of operating licences
(1) The initial term of an operating licence is to be for a maximum of 5
years, as determined by the Governor.
(2) After the initial term, the
Governor may renew an operating licence for a maximum of 5 years at a time.
(3) An operating licence may be renewed even if its term has expired.
