SWIMMING POOLS ACT 1992 - SECT 38
Regulations
38 Regulations
(1) The Governor may make regulations, not inconsistent with
this Act, for or with respect to any matter that by this Act is required or
permitted to be prescribed or that is necessary or convenient to be prescribed
for carrying out or giving effect to this Act and, in particular, for or with
respect to: (a) the use of land surrounding or adjoining child-resistant
barriers required by this Act, and
(b) the functions of inspectors, and
(c)
the fees payable under this Act, and
(d) the forms to be used for the
purposes of this Act.
(2) A regulation may create an offence punishable by a
penalty not exceeding 5 penalty units.
(3) A regulation may apply, adopt or
incorporate the provisions of any standard, code or rule, as in force for the
time being.
