SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK AUTHORITY ACT 2001 - SECT 26

26 Subdivision legislation-subdivision approval by Authority

(1) The functions of a council in relation to approvals for plans of subdivision under the Conveyancing Act 1919 , the Strata Schemes (Freehold Development) Act 1973 , the Strata Schemes (Leasehold Development) Act 1986 or the Community Land Development Act 1989 may be exercised by the Authority in the case of development carried out by the Authority.

(2) The approval of a council is not required for any plan that is approved by the Authority in the exercise of those functions.
