STATE OWNED CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 - SECT 20I
Portfolio Minister
(1) The Minister who has the duty to administer the foundation charter of a
statutory SOC is the portfolio Minister of the SOC.
(2) However, if-- (a)
there is not a Minister who is the portfolio Minister under subsection (1), or
(b) the Premier is of the opinion that another Minister should be the
portfolio Minister,
the portfolio Minister of the SOC is the Minister
nominated by the Premier by order published in the Gazette.
(3) Such a
nomination is to be made by reference to a ministerial title. The Premier can
be nominated as a portfolio Minister.
