STOCK MEDICINES ACT 1989 - SECT 56
Forfeiture
56 Forfeiture
(1) If a person is convicted of an offence against this Act or the
regulations, the court may order forfeiture to the Crown of any stock medicine
to which the conviction relates.
(2) In any such case, the forfeiture may
extend to the whole of the stock medicine, to the whole of any similar article
and to all packages containing any similar stock medicine belonging to the
defendant or in the defendant’s possession at the time of committing the
offence.
(3) All stock medicines forfeited under this Act are to be disposed
of as the Minister may direct.
