29A Offence of permitting employee who is provisional licensee to carry on
unsupervised security activity
(1) A person who is the holder of a provisional licence must not carry on a
security activity authorised by that licence otherwise than under the direct
supervision (as determined in accordance with the regulations) of a person who
holds a class 1 licence that authorises the carrying on of the
security activity to which the provisional licence relates.
(2) If subsection
(1) is contravened, the person who is (at the time of the contravention) the
employer of the person holding the provisional licence is guilty of an
offence. Maximum penalty: (a) in the case of a corporation-200 penalty units,
or
(b) in the case of an individual-100 penalty units.
