STOCK FOODS ACT 1940 - SECT 37
Service of notices
37 Service of notices
(1) A notice under this Act may be served on a person: (a) by delivering it
personally to that person,
(b) by delivering it to the place last known to
the Director-General as that person’s place of abode or business and by
leaving it there with some person for that person, or
(c) subject to
subsection (2), by posting it in an envelope duly stamped and addressed to
that person at the place last known to the Director-General as that person’s
place of abode or business.
(2) Where a notice is served as referred to in
subsection (1) (c), the notice shall be deemed to have been served at such
time after the posting of the notice as is prescribed or, where no such time
is prescribed, at the time when the notice would be delivered in the ordinary
course of post.
