SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT ACT 2000 - SECT 11C
Review of casino private gaming area exemption
(1) The Minister is to review regularly the exemption for a
casino private gaming area to determine whether the exemption is justified on
the grounds of maintaining parity with the smoking restrictions in casinos in
other States and Territories.
(2) A review is to be undertaken within one
month after 1 January each year and the first such review is to take place in
2006.
(3) A report on the outcome of each review is to be tabled in each
House of Parliament no later than 1 June of the year in which the review is
undertaken.
