(1) The Governor may make regulations not inconsistent with this Act
prescribing all matters which are required or permitted to be prescribed or
which are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving
effect to this Act.
(2)
(a) Without prejudice to the generality of the power
conferred by subsection (1) the Governor may make regulations prohibiting the
lighting of fires in the area of erosion hazard constituted under this Act or
in any area of erosion hazard notified under this Act or in any catchment area
notified under this Act except under such circumstances and subject to such
limitations, conditions and restrictions as may be prescribed.
(b) Any
regulation made under this subsection may be made to apply to all such areas
of erosion hazard and catchment areas or to any specified area of erosion
hazard or catchment area or to any specified part of any specified area of
erosion hazard or catchment area.
(3) Any regulation made under this section
may authorise any matter or thing to be from time to time determined, applied
or regulated by the Minister or by the Commissioner.
