SAINT ANDREW'S COLLEGE ACT 1998 - SECT 16

16 Protection from personal liability

(1) Anything done or omitted to be done by the Council, a member of the Council, or any person acting under the direction of the Council does not subject a member or person so acting personally to any action, liability, claim or demand if the thing was done or omitted to be done in good faith for the purposes of executing this Act or the by-laws.

(2) The Council may indemnify a member of the Council for any costs, expenses or liabilities incurred by the person as a member of the Council, other than those arising out of conduct involving a lack of good faith.
