Note: The National Road Transport Commission Act 1991 of the Commonwealth was repealed on 15.1.2004 and replaced by the National Transport Commission Act 2003 of the Commonwealth. Under section 68 (3) of the Interpretation Act 1987 the reference in this section to the National Road Transport Commission Act 1991 of the Commonwealth is required to be construed as a reference to the replacement Act. Accordingly this Act will now expire when the National Transport Commission Act 2003 of the Commonwealth ceases to be in force.
