New South Wales Consolidated ActsIn this Division:
"approved oral fluid analysing instrument" means any instrument designed to
ascertain, by analysis of a person’s oral fluid, the presence of any
prescribed illicit drug in that person’s oral fluid, being an instrument
that:
(a) meets the standards prescribed by the regulations for such instruments, and
(b) is approved by the Governor by order published in the Gazette."approved oral fluid testing device" means a device designed to indicate the presence of any prescribed illicit drug in a person’s oral fluid, being a device that:
(a) meets the standards prescribed by the regulations for such devices, and
(b) is approved by the Governor by order published in the Gazette."oral fluid analysis" means a test carried out by an approved oral fluid analysing instrument for the purpose of ascertaining, by analysis of a person’s oral fluid, the presence of prescribed illicit drugs in that person’s oral fluid.
