ROAD TRANSPORT (GENERAL) ACT 2005 - SECT 250

Procuring or hire of motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation

250 Procuring or hire of motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation

(cf former Act, s 53)

(1) A person must not procure the use or hire of any motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) A person must not aid or abet a person to procure the use or hire of any motor vehicle or trailer by fraud or misrepresentation.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
