New South Wales Consolidated Acts New South Wales Consolidated ActsA term of a residential tenancy agreement is void to the extent that it provides that, if the tenant breaches the agreement or this or any other Act, the tenant is liable to pay:
(a) all or any part of the rent remaining payable under the agreement,
(b) increased rent,
(c) any amount as a penalty, or
(d) any amount as liquidated damages.
