RESIDENTIAL PARKS ACT 1998 - SECT 47

47 Post-dated cheques

(cf RT Act s 39)
A person must not, in payment of rent or any other amount under or in relation to a residential tenancy agreement, require a cheque or other negotiable instrument that is post-dated.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
