Enforcement of orders for possession
123 Enforcement of orders for possession
(1) If an order for possession of residential premises is made by the
Tribunal, then the Chairperson of the Tribunal, any other member of the
Tribunal, the Registrar of the Tribunal or a Deputy Registrar of the Tribunal
may: (a) on the application of the person in whose favour the order was made,
and
(b) if satisfied that the order for possession or a condition of
suspension of the order has not been complied with,
issue a warrant, in or to
the effect of the form prescribed by the regulations, authorising a
sheriff’s officer to enter the residential premises and to give possession
to the person in whose favour the order was made.
