RURAL LANDS PROTECTION ACT 1998 - SECT 158
Period for compliance with eradication order
158 Period for compliance with eradication order
(1) An eradication order
must specify a reasonable period within which the terms of the order are to be
complied with, subject to this section.
(2) An order may require compliance
within a short period (not being less than 24 hours) in circumstances which
the authority believes constitute a serious risk of harm being caused by the
pest to which the order relates.
