(1) The Governor may make regulations, not inconsistent with
this Act, for or with respect to any matter that by this Act is required or
permitted to be prescribed or that is necessary or convenient to be prescribed
for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) In particular, the
regulations may make provision for or with respect to--
(a) the qualifications
(including experience and training), appointment and functions of specialist
retail valuers, and
(b) the preparation, format and general content of the
lists of nominated specialist retail valuers, and the times or intervals at
which the lists are to be provided, and
(c) the construction of a reference
in a provision of this Act to an organisation or office that no longer exists.
(3) A regulation may create an offence punishable by a penalty not exceeding
20 penalty units.
(4) The regulations may prescribe a form to replace the
form in Schedule 2 or 2A or may prescribe modifications to the form in
Schedule 2 or 2A.
