15 Lessee to be provided with executed copy of lease
(1) A retail shop lease
is taken to include a provision to the effect that the lessor must provide the
lessee with an executed copy of the lease within 3 months after the lease is
returned to the lessor or the lessor's lawyer or agent following its execution
by the lessee.
(2) That 3-month period is to be extended for any delay
attributable to the need to obtain any consent from a head lessor or mortgagee
(being delay not due to any failure by the lessor to make reasonable efforts
to obtain consent).
