96 Appropriate authorities not determining authorities
(1) An appropriate
authority is not, for the purposes of granting a fire permit, a determining
authority within the meaning of Part 5 of the
Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 . In addition, an appropriate
authority is not a determining authority within the meaning of that Act merely
because the authority can authorise another person to grant a permit.
