REDFERN-WATERLOO AUTHORITY ACT 2004 - SECT 9
Board of Authority
(1) There is to be a Board of the Authority.
(2) The Board is to consist of
the following members: (a) the Chief Executive Officer,
(b) not more than 9
persons appointed by the Minister.
(3) Of the members appointed by the
Minister, one is, in and by the instrument of appointment or another
instrument made by the Governor, to be appointed as Chairperson of the Board.
(4) The Minister is to ensure that at least one of the appointed members of
the Board is an Aboriginal person (within the meaning of the
Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 ).
(5) Schedule 2 has effect with respect to
the members and procedure of the Board.
