Determination by agreement
192 Determination by agreement
(1) An agreement for compensation must be in writing, must be signed by the
parties to the agreement and must be approved by the Minister.
(2) The
Minister--
(a) must decide whether to approve the agreement for compensation
or whether to refuse approval, and
(b) must give notice to each of the
parties of the decision and (if the Minister decides to refuse approval) of
the reasons for the decision.
(3) The Minister is taken to have approved an
agreement for compensation if no notice under this section has been served on
any of the parties within 28 days after the agreement was lodged with the
Minister.
