Notification of use of force or urgent entry
168 Notification of use of force or urgent entry
(1) An authorised officer--
(a) who uses force for the purpose of gaining
entry to the land, or
(b) who enters land in an emergency without giving
written notice to the owner or occupier,
must promptly advise the roads
authority of that fact.
(2) The roads authority must give notice of the entry
to such persons or authorities as appear to the roads authority to be
appropriate in the circumstances.
