New South Wales Consolidated ActsThe provisions of section nine other than the provisions for passing a
resolution that the committee be appointed shall, mutatis mutandis, be
observed in the election of members of the Legislative Council to serve on the
Committee, and in carrying out such provisions the President of the
Legislative Council and the Clerk of Parliaments, or officer acting in his or
her place, shall respectively be charged with the duties and powers in the
said section imposed and conferred on the Speaker and Clerk respectively.
The date to be fixed by the President for the election shall be within a
period of fourteen days from the date of the concurrence of the Legislative
Council with the resolution of the Assembly.
