Recommendations arising from investigations
53E Recommendations arising from investigations
(1) The Minister, in consultation with Roads and Maritime Services, may, by
order in writing, direct a person who carries on a public passenger service by
means of a ferry to comply with a recommendation contained in a report
provided to the Minister under section 46BA (2) or 46BG.
(2) A person who,
without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with an order of the Minister under
this section is guilty of an offence. Maximum penalty: 1,000 penalty units.
