(1) TfNSW may appoint a member of staff of TfNSW, or a person of a class
prescribed by the regulations, to be an authorised officer for the purposes of
this Act.
(4) The authority of an authorised officer appointed under this
section may be limited by the relevant instrument of appointment to the
functions specified in the instrument of appointment.
(5) In addition to
other persons who may be appointed as authorised officers under this Act,
TfNSW may, for the purposes of a specified bus or ferry accident or incident,
appoint as an authorised officer a person exercising powers, or holding office
under a Commonwealth Act.
