Provision of information relating to safety to regulator
46A Provision of information relating to safety to regulator
(1) A person who carries on a public passenger service by means of a bus or
ferry must provide to the regulator the information concerning measures taken
by the person to promote safety or concerning other matters relating to safety
that the regulator reasonably requires.
(2) A person who carries on a
public passenger service by means of a bus or ferry must, if required by
notice in writing given to the person by the regulator, submit a safety report
to the regulator.
(3) The person must provide the information or report in
the form and manner approved by the regulator.
Maximum penalty: 500 penalty
units.
