Cancellation and suspension of registration
17 Cancellation and suspension of registration
(1) A person ceases to be registered as a pharmacist if the person’s name is
removed from the Register. A reference in this Act to the cancellation of a
pharmacist’s registration is a reference to the removal of the
pharmacist’s name from the Register.
(2) A person whose registration as a
pharmacist is suspended is taken not to be a registered pharmacist during the
period of the suspension, except for the purposes of Part 4 (Complaints and
disciplinary proceedings).
