27A Memorandum of understanding with Director-General of Department of Trade
and Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services
(1) The Presiding Officers may enter into a memorandum of understanding with
the Director-General of the Department of Trade and Investment, Regional
Infrastructure and Services regarding the exercise in the Parliamentary
precincts of functions by inspectors (within the meaning of the
Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 ) in relation to any licence under
the Liquor Act 2007 that authorises the sale of liquor in the Parliamentary
precincts.
(2) The memorandum of understanding may be amended, revoked or
replaced from time to time.
(3) The functions referred to in subsection (1)
must as far as practicable be exercised in conformity with the memorandum of
understanding. However, a failure to comply with this subsection does not
itself invalidate anything done or omitted to be done by any such inspector.
