Personal liability
35 Personal liability
(1) A matter or thing done or omitted to be done by the Authority, the Board,
an advisory body, a member of the Board or an advisory body, the
Director-General or any person acting under the direction of the Authority,
the Board, an advisory body or the Director-General does not, if the matter or
thing was done or omitted in good faith for the purpose of executing the
environment protection legislation, subject the member, Director-General or a
person so acting personally to any action, liability, claim or demand.
(2) In
this section,
"advisory body" means an Environment Protection Community Consultation Forum
established under Part 6, the New South Wales Council on
Environmental Education or an advisory committee established under Part 6.
