A witness attending or appearing before the Commission is to be paid, out of
money provided by Parliament, in respect of the expenses of the witness’s
attendance an amount ascertained in accordance with the scale prescribed for
the purposes of section 51 of the
Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988 or, if there is no such
prescribed scale, such amount as the Commission determines.
