PRIVATE HOSPITALS AND DAY PROCEDURE CENTRES ACT 1988 - SECT 39
Purposes for which establishments may be used
39 Purposes for which establishments may be used
(1) The licensee of an establishment shall not cause or permit the licensed
premises to be used for any purpose other than the following purposes: (a) the
conduct of an establishment of the class or classes specified in the licence,
(b) a purpose permitted by a condition to which the licence is subject,
(c) a
purpose which is prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this
paragraph.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) A reference in subsection
(l) (a) to the conduct of an establishment does not include a reference to the
conduct of a pharmacist’s shop or dispensary in the establishment.
