PRIVATE HOSPITALS AND DAY PROCEDURE CENTRES ACT 1988 - SECT 37

37 Unlicensed day procedure centres

(1) A person shall not conduct a day procedure centre unless:

(a) the day procedure centre is licensed, and

(b) the person is the licensee.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.

(2) A day procedure centre is not required to be licensed if it is conducted in the same premises as a licensed private hospital and by the same person who conducts the private hospital.
