Returning officer to determine order in which candidates’ names are to appear on ballot paper
82A Returning officer to determine order in which candidates’ names are to
appear on ballot paper
If after noon on the day of nomination there are 2 or more candidates for
election for a district, the returning officer is to determine the order in
which the candidates’ names are to appear on the ballot papers by randomly
selecting the names of candidates in a manner specified by the
Electoral Commissioner (including by electronic means).
