PARLIAMENTARY ELECTORATES AND ELECTIONS ACT 1912 - SECT 176B
Disorderly conduct at public political meetings
176B Disorderly conduct at public political meetings
(1) Any person who, at any public meeting to which this section applies, acts
in a disorderly manner for the purpose of preventing the transaction of the
business for which the meeting is held shall be guilty of an offence against
this Act.
(2) This section applies to any lawful public political meeting
held in relation to any election between the date of the issue of the writ for
the election and the date of the return of the writ.
Maximum penalty: 5
penalty units.
