Informal ballot papers
122 Informal ballot papers
(1) A ballot paper shall be informal if: (a) it is not duly initialled by an
election official or pre-poll voting officer, as the case may require, or
(b)
the voter has failed to record his or her vote in the manner directed on the
ballot paper, or
(c) it has upon it any mark or writing not authorised by
this Act to be put upon it, which, in the opinion of the returning officer,
will enable any person to identify the voter.
(2) Informal ballot papers
shall be rejected at the scrutiny.
