SCHEDULE 1 – Savings and transitional provisions

(Section 35)

1 Application of amendments made by Pre-Trial Diversion of Offenders (Amendment) Act 1993

(1) Section 3A does not apply to proceedings pending at the commencement of that section if the person charged with the offence concerned was assessed under section 14 before that commencement.

(2) Section 24 (as substituted by the Pre-Trial Diversion of Offenders (Amendment) Act 1993 ) does not apply to proceedings pending at the commencement of Schedule 1 (10) to that Act in which the person charged with the offence concerned pleaded guilty or not guilty before that commencement.
