PROTECTED DISCLOSURES ACT 1994 - SECT 15

15 Referred disclosures protected

(1) A disclosure is protected by this Act if it is made by a public official to an investigating authority and is referred (whether because it is not authorised to investigate the matter under the relevant investigation Act or otherwise) by the investigating authority under Part 4 to another investigating authority or to a public official or public authority.

(2) A disclosure is protected by this Act if it is made by a public official to another public official in accordance with section 8 (1) (b) or (c) and is referred under Part 4 by the other public official to an investigating authority or to another public official or public authority.
